The 1976 Malaysia 10 Ringgit Third Malaysian Five-Year Plan silver coin, KM#17, commemorates the national development program covering 1976–1980. This impressive multi-sided Proof issue is certified NGC PF68 and centers on Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysia’s second Prime Minister, whose administration played a major role in shaping national development policy. The obverse presents his frontal portrait wearing glasses and traditional headwear, framed by a ribbon bearing his name. Around him radiates a remarkable circle of stylized Malaysian state flags and emblems, incorporating crescents, stars, stripes and other regional symbols. The reverse features Malaysia’s elaborate national coat of arms: two heraldic tigers support a quartered shield filled with state symbols, while a crescent and multi-pointed star rise above and a flowing motto ribbon appears below. The 1976–1980 period and 10 Ringgit denomination complete this historic design. A superb PF68 silver collectible combining Malaysian politics, heraldry, national unity and economic history.
