A new coin.
The 2013 Malaysia 10 Ringgit Malaysian National Museum silver coin, KM#213, commemorates the museum’s Golden Jubilee and 50 years since its establishment in 1963. Struck in .925 silver with a limited Proof mintage of only 1,000 pieces, this example is certified PCGS PR69. One side presents the distinctive Muzium Negara building in Kuala Lumpur, rendered with its sweeping traditional Malay-style roofs, richly textured surfaces, central entrance, decorative façade panels and surrounding vegetation. Above appear the Golden Jubilee theme and anniversary years 1963–2013. The opposite side features a symbolic historical composition with Malaysian figures carrying flags, the crescent and multi-pointed star, traditional weapons and ceremonial elements, complemented by floral motifs and textured background details. The Bank Negara Malaysia designation and 10 Ringgit denomination frame the scene. A scarce certified commemorative combining architecture, history, national symbolism and museum heritage, it is an impressive addition to a Malaysian or world silver collection.
