The 1980 Malaysia 1 Sen Republic Coinage is a superb bronze Proof coin celebrating the nation’s modern identity and civic architecture, certified by PCGS at the perfect PR70DCAM grade. The architectural side depicts Malaysia’s Parliament House in Kuala Lumpur, with its prominent high-rise tower covered by a precise grid of windows, the adjoining low assembly complex, projecting horizontal structures and distinctive angular roof. Above appear the crescent and radiant multi-pointed star, familiar national symbols, while a finely patterned wavy border surrounds the design. The denomination side is dominated by a large numeral 1, framed by the country name, denomination and 1980 date. Two delicate floral ornaments with curling stems balance the composition, with a small mint mark below and matching decorative rim. Parliament House is closely associated with Malaysia’s parliamentary institutions and remains an important example of the country’s modern governmental architecture. Bronze surfaces, Deep Cameo contrast and flawless PCGS PR70DCAM certification give this issue exceptional collector appeal.
