A new coin.
The 2007 Malaysia 1 Ringgit commemorative coin honors the installation of Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin as the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia’s elected constitutional monarch. Struck in aluminium bronze, this premium example is certified PCGS PR69CAM, displaying superb proof surfaces and strong cameo contrast. The portrait side depicts Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin in formal royal attire and an intricately patterned ceremonial headdress with a prominent radiating emblem. His royal title surrounds the portrait, while the installation date, 26 April 2007, appears below. The opposite side presents Malaysia’s elaborate national coat of arms: a divided shield supported by two heraldic tigers, crescent and star above, motto scrolls below, and a large wreath of rice stalks with crossed stems. Horizontal lines form a textured background, while the 1 Ringgit denomination and Bank Negara Malaysia complete the composition. A high-grade royal issue combining Malaysian history, politics, heraldry and national symbolism.
