The 2003 Malaysia 1 Ringgit LIMA commemorative coin celebrates the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition, a major showcase of aviation, maritime technology and industry. Struck in copper-nickel and certified PCGS MS67, this high-grade piece features a dynamic transport and technology design. One side depicts a modern twin-tail fighter aircraft in flight above a naval warship cutting through stylized waves, with a circular technical motif behind them and the 1 Ringgit denomination above. The opposite side presents the LIMA ’03 emblem, combining a stylized exhibition structure with a large globe formed by curved latitude and longitude lines. The surrounding design identifies the international maritime and aerospace theme and dates the event to 30 September–5 October 2003. Aircraft, jet wings, twin tail fins, ship, radar-like geometry, globe and exhibition logo create a highly collectible composition devoted to Malaysian aerospace and maritime development.
