Mexico 10 pesos 180 Years Federation Durango State PR68 PCGS silver coin 2005

This 2005 Mexico 10 Pesos silver proof coin commemorates 180 years of the Mexican Federation through the State of Durango and is certified PCGS PR68DCAM. The state-themed side displays the Durango coat of arms beneath the inscription ESTADO DE DURANGO. Its central oval shield features a prominent oak tree with visible trunk, roots and foliage, surmounted by a crown and framed by sweeping ornamental branches; crossed decorative elements appear at the base. The Mexican Mint mark, date 2005 and $10 denomination complete the design, surrounded by a beaded border. The opposite side carries Mexico’s national coat of arms: a detailed eagle gripping a serpent in its beak and talon while standing on a prickly pear cactus, with cactus pads and fruits above rocks and water motifs. Oak and laurel branches tied with a ribbon frame the emblem beneath ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. Deeply mirrored proof fields and frosted relief enhance this attractive state design, making the certified issue an appealing choice for collectors of Mexican history and regional coinage.
