This Mexico 1/10 Onza Libertad gold coin of 2014, KM-672, is a scarce bullion issue struck in .999 fine gold by the Mexican Mint and certified MS 69 by PCGS. The reverse portrays Winged Victory, the Angel of Independence, standing atop her column with one arm extended, flowing drapery and magnificent feathered wings. Behind her, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl rise above the Valley of Mexico, with mountain slopes, vegetation and small plants completing the landscape. The legends include 1/10 ONZA ORO PURO, 2014, LEY .999 and the Mo mint mark. The obverse presents Mexico’s national coat of arms beneath ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS: a finely detailed eagle gripping a snake while perched on a prickly pear cactus, surrounded by oak and laurel branches tied with ribbon. With a mintage of only 2,450 and a near-perfect PCGS MS69 grade, this fractional gold Libertad combines rarity, precious metal and iconic Mexican symbolism.
