The 2003 Macedonia 100 Denari Mihailo Apostolski KM-Pn10 is a scarce silver Trial issue dedicated to Mihailo Apostolski (1906–1987), a military commander and later historian whose career became closely associated with Macedonia’s World War II history. Certified PCGS SP69, this exceptional specimen combines near-perfect preservation with the special character of experimental coinage. The obverse presents a detailed frontal portrait of Apostolski in military uniform and side cap bearing an emblem, with carefully modeled facial features and clothing. The reverse displays a striking statehood-themed memorial composition: a tall central monument rises above a stepped base, flanked by massive geometric forms and two circular grid-like emblems, while a concentric target-like motif crowns the structure. The large 100 Denari denomination dominates the lower field. Reflective silver surfaces and strongly raised relief emphasize every architectural and portrait detail. Its Trial status, PCGS SP69 grade, historical personality and distinctive monumental design make this an appealing acquisition for collectors of Macedonian history and rare pattern coinage.
