The 2003 Macedonia 100 Denars Goce Delcev silver pattern trial is a distinctive commemorative issue dedicated to one of the most significant revolutionary figures associated with Macedonia. Certified PCGS SP66, the coin presents a detailed frontal portrait of Goce Delcev, recognizable by his swept hair, prominent moustache, formal jacket and carefully modeled facial features. His name and commemorative dates frame the portrait, while small triangular clusters of raised dots appear at both sides. The reverse features the large 100 denomination beneath a symbolic composition of rounded forms, circular emblems and a prominent central vertical motif, surrounded by a broad border. Goce Delcev (1872–1903) was a teacher, revolutionary and leading organizer of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, advocating political autonomy for Macedonia and Adrianople. Struck in silver as a pattern/trial and certified SP66 by PCGS, this unusual piece combines political history, portraiture and experimental numismatics, offering strong appeal to collectors of Balkan and specialized pattern coinage.
