A coin with some oxides, a capsule (please, check photos).
This 1993 Mexico 2 Pesos Guerrero Aguila silver coin belongs to the Pre-Columbian cultural theme and presents an expressive interpretation of Mexico’s ancient heritage. The obverse features a stylized bust of an eagle warrior, shown in profile-facing ceremonial attire with a large sculptural headdress, defined facial features and layered costume details. The date 1993, Mexico City Mint mark, GUERRERO AGUILA and N$2 denomination complete the central design, surrounded by a broad border of repeating pre-Columbian glyph-like motifs. The reverse displays Mexico’s national coat of arms: an eagle with spread wings gripping a serpent while standing on a prickly pear cactus, framed by oak and laurel branches and the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The same repeating symbolic border encircles the composition, with 1/2 ONZA DE PLATA and LEY 0.999 below. The eagle warrior evokes the elite military tradition of the Aztec world, making this finely detailed silver issue especially attractive for collectors of Mexican, Aztec and archaeological themes.
