A new coin.
This 1915 Mexico 2 Centavos coin is a distinctive revolutionary-era issue from Tetela de Ocampo, Puebla, later produced as a restrike and catalogued as KM-759. Certified PCGS MS63, the coin displays warm copper-brown surfaces and strongly hand-crafted regional character. One side features the Mexican eagle with spread wings, gripping a serpent while standing above a cactus and wreath-like vegetation. The surrounding legend identifies REPUBLICA MEXICANA, with the date 1915 below and a decorative border of repeated curved elements around the rim. The opposite side places a large numeral 2 at the center, flanked by C. and S. for the denomination. The peripheral inscription identifies TETELA DEL ORO Y OCAMPO, PUE., while the same distinctive border frames the design. Issues of this type belong to the complex numismatic history of the Mexican Revolution, when regional authorities produced local coinage amid political and economic disruption. The PCGS MS63 grade, rustic dies, bold lettering and historic Puebla origin make this an appealing piece for collectors of Mexican revolutionary and regional coinage.
