This Mexico 100 Pesos 1992 silver coin presents the Guerrero Águila, or Eagle Warrior, one of the most recognizable elite warrior figures of the Aztec world. Certified PCGS MS66, it is struck in .999 fine silver. The reverse features a stylized bust of an Eagle Warrior wearing an elaborate eagle-shaped helmet and ceremonial warrior attire, with the face emerging from the open beak. The portrait is framed by a circular field and a border of repeated decorative glyph-like motifs; GUERRERO AGUILA, the 1992 date, Mo Mexico City mint mark and $100 denomination complete the design. The obverse displays Mexico’s national coat of arms with an eagle grasping a snake while standing on a fruit-bearing prickly pear cactus, framed by oak and laurel branches and ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. A matching ornamental border surrounds the composition, while 1 ONZA DE PLATA and LEY 0.999 identify its silver fineness. This MS66 issue combines pre-Columbian heritage, Aztec warrior imagery and Mexican national symbolism.
