This 2005 Mexico 10 Pesos Aguascalientes KM-720 silver coin celebrates the heritage of the Mexican state of Aguascalientes and is certified PCGS PR69. The state-themed side presents an elaborate architectural composition beneath AGUASCALIENTES and the $10 denomination. It combines the monumental façade and towers of the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption with an ornate historic archway, while a sculpted eagle appears prominently in the foreground. The Mexican Mint mark, MEXICO and date 2005 complete the composition, framed by a geometric circular border. The opposite side displays Mexico’s national coat of arms: a powerful eagle with finely rendered feathers grasping a serpent while perched on a prickly pear cactus with multiple pads and fruits. Rocks, water details, oak and laurel branches, leaves and a tied ribbon complete the emblem beneath ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The silver Proof finish creates strong contrast between reflective fields and frosted architectural relief. A superb certified regional issue combining Mexican history, architecture, heraldry and national symbolism.
