The 2003 Malaysia 1 Ringgit KM-177 commemorative coin honors the 10th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference, held in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Struck in copper-aluminium and certified PCGS PR69, this Proof issue combines Islamic-inspired geometry with symbols of international cooperation. One side presents an elaborate radial composition built from a central floral rosette, petal-shaped elements, triangular facets, concentric rings, a multi-pointed star and an outer zigzag star pattern surrounded by small square ornaments. The design identifies the summit and its location in Putrajaya. The opposite side features a large circular emblem assembled from stylized abstract forms, geometric details and calligraphic-inspired shapes, accompanied by Putrajaya Malaysia 2003, Bank Negara Malaysia and the 1 Ringgit denomination. The Islamic Summit brings together leaders of member states to discuss political, economic, social and cultural cooperation. With its intricate geometric artwork, religious and diplomatic theme, golden CuAl appearance and high PCGS PR69 grade, this coin is an attractive modern Malaysian collectible.
