A coin with some micro scratches, a capsule with some attritions (please, check photos).
The 2004 Malawi 10 Kwacha proof silver coin from the Famous Places of the World series celebrates Les Jumelles through an unusual fusion of numismatics and philately. The central feature is a colored reproduction of a Swiss 60 denomination postage stamp marked Helvetia. Its vivid Alpine scene depicts the distinctive twin mountain peaks rising above snowfields, green slopes and dark evergreen trees, with blue water in the foreground. The inset stamp is surrounded by reflective fields and a decorative beaded border. The opposite side displays Malawi’s national coat of arms: a shield with wavy bands, landscape motifs and rising sun, supported by a lion and leopard, with an eagle, helmet and elaborate mantling above and a motto ribbon below. The 2004 date and 10 Kwacha denomination complete the design. Struck in silver with a Proof finish and colorful stamp insert, this distinctive issue combines Swiss mountain scenery, travel, geography and philately in an eye-catching collectible.
