The 2017 Luxembourg 2.50 Euro Adolphe Bridge commemorative bimetallic coin celebrates one of Luxembourg City’s most recognizable architectural landmarks. Certified NGC PF69, this distinctive curved-format issue combines a golden-toned outer surface with a contrasting silver-colored central element. The reverse presents the Pont Adolphe in impressive architectural detail: its monumental central arch spans the valley, accompanied by smaller arches, balustrades, supporting piers and the city skyline with a prominent tower in the background. Textured rocky terrain fills the foreground, while “PONT ADOLPHE” and the 2,50 EURO denomination frame the composition. The obverse features a stylized right-facing portrait of Grand Duke Henri, rendered with clean geometric lines, alongside the country name and 2017 date. Opened in 1903 and named for Grand Duke Adolphe, the bridge became an enduring symbol of Luxembourg City and an important feat of early 20th-century engineering. Its unusual shape, bimetallic appearance, architectural theme and near-perfect PF69 grade make this an especially appealing modern European collectible.
