The 2000 Lithuania 50 Litu silver coin, KM-121, is a striking military-history commemorative dedicated to the development of artillery and the science behind early cannon fire. The artillery-themed side presents a detailed historical cannon barrel in profile, accompanied by a projectile, trajectory lines, measurement marks, mathematical notations and the dates 2000 and 350, creating the appearance of an old technical artillery manuscript. The opposite side depicts an intricate geometric fortification plan with layered square defensive walls, bastions, angles, directional lines and numerous lettered reference points. At its center is Lithuania’s Vytis emblem: an armored knight on a rearing horse with raised sword and shield. The denomination appears below. Struck in silver with a Proof finish and certified PCGS PR69, this coin combines military engineering, artillery, mathematics, fortification architecture and Lithuanian heraldry in an unusually technical design, making it an appealing addition to specialized historical and world coin collections.
