    The 2005 Liberia 10 Dollars is a Proof silver commemorative honoring Carl Friedrich Benz, the German engineer whose pioneering work helped establish the modern automobile. Certified PCGS PR69DCAM, the coin combines deeply mirrored fields with sharply defined frosted devices. The themed side presents a detailed portrait of Benz with his distinctive moustache, formal jacket and tie, accompanied by an early three-wheeled motor vehicle representing his revolutionary 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen. His name, life dates 1844–1929 and a reference to the first motorcar frame the composition. The opposite side features Liberia’s national coat of arms with a three-masted sailing ship on the sea, palm tree, rising sun, flying bird, plow and coastal landscape, enclosed by decorative ribbons and the national motto.
