The 2006 Lithuania 50 Litu silver commemorative honors Emilija Pliaterytė (Emilia Plater), marking the 200th anniversary of her birth. Certified PCGS PR70DCAM, this exceptional Proof coin presents a refined portrait of the young heroine in period dress, with carefully modeled facial features, swept hair, high collar and necktie, accompanied by her name and the dates 1806–1831. The opposite side combines Lithuania’s Vytis coat of arms—an armored knight on horseback with raised sword and shield—with a dramatic relief scene of numerous armed insurgents, including marching and fighting figures carrying weapons and banners. The year 2006 and 50 Litu denomination complete the composition. Pliaterytė was a noblewoman and participant in the November Uprising of 1830–1831, remembered for joining the insurgent forces and becoming an enduring symbol of courage in Lithuanian and Polish historical memory. Silver, flawless PR70 Deep Cameo certification and powerful historical imagery make this an outstanding collectible.
