A new uncirculated banknote UNC.
Lebanon 50,000 Livres 2019 Specimen banknote is a striking modern Lebanese currency issue, certified PCGS Banknote GEM UNC 66 PPQ and identified as Pick #94s. Its face combines blue, green, violet and pale yellow geometric fields with a large stylized 50,000 denomination, diamond motifs, fine security patterns and the iconic Cedar of Lebanon. A traditional boat appears prominently across the lower center, while red Arabic specimen overprints distinguish this non-circulation example. The reverse features Banque du Liban, repeated 50,000 numerals, Cinquante Mille Livres, another cedar tree and a dramatic central diamond filled with intricate concentric guilloche lines, surrounded by waves, rectangular panels and patterned borders. The cedar is Lebanon’s enduring national emblem, while the boat adds a maritime theme closely associated with the region’s long Mediterranean heritage. Printed by Goznak and preserved at the premium 66 PPQ level, this specimen is an excellent choice for collectors of Lebanese and Middle Eastern paper money.
