Printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire without printer imprint, this exceptional specimen combines Lebanese symbolism with sophisticated security artwork in warm yellow, orange and green tones. The front displays Arabic calligraphy, denomination elements, signatures, a wide vertical security thread, geometric panels, diamond motifs, intricate line patterns and a Lebanese cedar tree. Red Arabic specimen overprints appear diagonally across the design, while a large floral rosette and ornamental details enrich the composition. The reverse features the Martyrs’ Monument in Beirut, depicting sculpted human figures rising above its stone base, with a cedar tree and mountainous landscape behind. Banque du Liban, Dix Mille Livres and repeated 10,000 numerals complete the design. The monument commemorates Lebanese and Arab nationalists executed in 1916 and remains an important Beirut landmark.
