The Laos 5,000 Kip 1975 Savang Vatthana – Laotian Maiden silver coin is an elegant historical issue from the final year of the Kingdom of Laos, certified NGC PF68 Ultra Cameo. One side presents a finely modeled portrait of a young Laotian woman in traditional appearance, with her hair gathered into a high bun, a long pendant earring, necklace and decorated garment, accompanied by the denomination and National Bank reference. The opposite side features the right-facing portrait of King Savang Vatthana in formal dress, above a symbolic composition centered on an elephant and ceremonial elements. Savang Vatthana was the last king of Laos, reigning from 1959 until the monarchy ended in 1975, giving this issue particular historical significance. The silver Proof striking and strong Ultra Cameo contrast emphasize the portraits and delicate details. A compelling certified coin for collectors of Laos, Asian royalty, traditional culture and historic world silver.
