Israel’s independence 60th anniversary date is the theme of the proof-like coin made of 925 silver. The face value of the coin is 1 New Sheqel and it was minted in 2008 by 1800 pieces total amount. All inscriptions on the coin are made in Hebrew, Arabic and English. The obverse of the coin shows the number 1 as the monetary denomination. The number divides the surface in two unequal parts with different finish. The Israeli Coat of Arms is placed at the top of the obverse and the olive branch and Star of David are at the bottom. The reverse is decorated with big stylized “60” number; the last number of it is designed in the shape of pomegranate fruit with a dove sitting in front of it.
