Iceland 1000 kronur Eldjarn KM-34 Presidents PR 67 PCGS silver coin 1994

The Iceland 1000 Kronur 1994 silver commemorative coin, KM-34, honors Kristjan Eldjarn, Iceland's third President, who served from 1968 to 1980. Certified PCGS PR67, this beautiful Proof coin celebrates Icelandic history and national identity. The obverse features Eldjarn's left-facing portrait with carefully engraved wavy hair, expressive facial details and a delicate beaded border. The reverse presents Iceland's magnificent coat of arms: a cross-bearing shield guarded by four mythical protectors—a horned bull, majestic eagle with spread wings, fierce winged dragon and bearded giant holding a staff. A rocky platform completes the intricate heraldic composition. Before his presidency, Eldjarn was a distinguished archaeologist and director of Iceland's National Museum, dedicated to preserving the country's historical treasures. Combining elegant silver craftsmanship, reflective Proof surfaces, PCGS certification and fascinating Nordic symbolism, this collectible is an excellent addition to any world coin collection.
