Iceland 1000 kronur Eldjarn KM-34 Presidents MS 70 PCGS silver coin 1994

The Iceland 1000 Kronur 1994 silver commemorative coin, KM-34, honors Kristjan Eldjarn, Iceland's third President, who served from 1968 to 1980. Certified PCGS MS70, this exceptional Mint State coin celebrates Icelandic leadership and national heritage. The obverse features Eldjarn's detailed left-facing portrait, with carefully sculpted wavy hair, distinctive facial features and a delicate beaded border. The reverse displays Iceland's magnificent coat of arms: a cross-bearing shield protected by four legendary guardians—a horned bull, feathered eagle, winged dragon and bearded giant holding a staff, all standing upon a rocky base. Before becoming President, Eldjarn was a respected archaeologist and director of Iceland's National Museum, contributing significantly to the preservation of the country's cultural history. Combining a perfect PCGS grade, exquisite silver engraving and powerful Nordic symbolism, this remarkable collectible deserves a place in any prestigious world coin collection.
