Iceland 1000 kronur Asgeirsson KM-33 Presidents PR 69 PCGS silver coin 1994

The Iceland 1000 Kronur 1994 silver commemorative coin, KM-33, honors Asgeir Asgeirsson, Iceland's second President, who served from 1952 to 1968. Certified PCGS PR69, this impressive Proof coin features his finely engraved left-facing portrait, with carefully detailed hair and facial features, framed by a circular beaded border and commemorative dates. The reverse displays Iceland's historic coat of arms: a central shield bearing a cross, supported by four legendary guardians—a bull, eagle, dragon and bearded giant holding a staff. These mythical protectors symbolize the nation's strength, independence and cultural heritage. Asgeirsson played an important role in Icelandic political life during the country's development as a modern republic. Combining exceptional craftsmanship, brilliant reflective surfaces, national symbolism and presidential history, this collectible silver issue is an outstanding addition to Icelandic and world numismatic collections.
