The 2007 Hungary 5000 Forint St. Elizabeth KM-802 silver coin, certified PCGS PR69 Proof, celebrates the 800th anniversary of the birth of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary. The obverse portrays the crowned saint with flowing hair, an ornate mantle, embroidered garments, and a basket filled with roses. The reverse depicts Elizabeth distributing charity to a group of kneeling and standing people beneath a medieval arch supported by twisted columns. Born in 1207, Elizabeth was a Hungarian princess celebrated for her extraordinary compassion, generosity, and devotion to the poor. She established a hospital and dedicated her life to caring for the sick and disadvantaged. Canonized in 1235, she remains an enduring symbol of Christian charity. This beautifully crafted silver commemorative features elegant medieval-inspired lettering, refined relief, and brilliant Proof surfaces. Graded PCGS PR69, it is a wonderful collectible honoring faith, humanity, and European history.
