The Germany, Württemberg 3 Mark J-177a silver coin, struck in 1911 and certified PCGS MS66, commemorates the royal wedding of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg and Princess Charlotte of Schaumburg-Lippe. This historic issue celebrates one of the final royal marriages within the German Empire before the end of the monarchy. The obverse features finely engraved conjoined right-facing portraits of Wilhelm II in the foreground and Queen Charlotte behind him. Around the portraits runs the inscription with their names and titles, while the date range 1886–1911 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage. The engraver’s initial “F”, a beaded border, and the raised rim complete the elegant composition. The reverse displays the majestic Imperial German eagle with outstretched wings, crowned with the Imperial Crown and bearing the Hohenzollern shield on its breast. The surrounding legend DEUTSCHES REICH, the denomination DREI MARK, the date 1911, stars, decorative ornaments, and denticled border complete the design. Struck in silver and certified MS66 by PCGS, this beautifully preserved coin offers excellent luster and sharp detail, making it an outstanding collectible from Imperial Germany.
