This 1972 France 10 Francs Hercules silver coin, KM-932, Gad-813, F-364, is certified PCGS MS67 and features one of the most celebrated designs in French numismatics. The obverse presents Hercules standing at center, muscular and bearded, wearing the Nemean lion skin and uniting two female allegorical figures. Liberty stands with a staff topped by a Phrygian cap, while Equality holds a level, creating the symbolic trio beneath LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE. A small laurel branch and Dupré signature complete the composition. The reverse displays 10 FRANCS and 1972 within an elegant wreath formed by olive and oak branches tied with a ribbon, surrounded by REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE and a star. Struck in .900 silver, the design revives Augustin Dupré’s historic Hercules motif, first introduced during the French Revolution. The exceptional MS67 grade, classical allegory and crisp botanical detail make this a desirable high-grade French silver collectible.
