The set of five souvenir coins of Al Hoceima is dedicated to the wildlife of the territory. Al Hoceima is a Moroccan city on the coast of Mediterranean Sea; it’s also the name of the province. The collectible pieces show images of birds which are common for the region. There are the name of the territory and the year of mintage in Arabic on the same surfaces. The year of launching and the name of the territory in Spanish are minted on the opposite sides of the coins; the region once was a Spanish colony. There are the colonial Coat of Arms and the denomination in Ptas, which is not the legal currency of any country. The coins are made of different alloys, so they have different colors; all pieces of the set have various denominations as well. The exotic collectible coin set of Al Hoceima was minted in 2014.
