The gilded token of Russia commemorates the stunning beauty of the second largest of the country’s cities, Saint Petersburg. The collectible piece is made in coinage manner with the Coat of Arms on the one side and the glorious landmarks of the place on the other. The main one depicted on the token’s surface is the giant monument to Peter the Great commonly called the Bronze Horseman. The background for the effigy shows the other recognizable building of the city, the St. Isaac’s Cathedral. There is the relief of the Rostral column of Vasilievsky Island placed to the right of the Bronze Horseman, which is also the distinct object of the city’s skyline. The opposite side of the token is decorated with the state emblem of Russia and the name of the country minted under it. There’s a decorative ornamented border along the rim of both sides of the round.
