The collectible coin of the Cook Islands is made of .999 rate silver in 2006 as a part of the thematic series dedicated to the Russian Silver Age era. The certain period in literature called Silver one occurred in the early XX century with numerous of outstanding poets belonging to it. One of those is Marina Tsvetaeva, renowned classical Russian poet committed suicide after tragic life. The colored portrait of hers is depicted on the reverse side of the coin with the name of the series above it and the name of the poet below. The rate of precious metal and the weight are indicated by the both sides of the images. The opposite side is designed in the traditional for the commemorative coins manner. It shows the Queen’s effigy and the legends placed along the piece’s rim; they explain the name of the country, the denomination and the year of producing.
