The special coin of the Cook Islands minted in 2009 is dedicated to the Day of the Bank Workers, which is Ukrainian professional holiday celebrated on May 20. The images related to the banking trade of the country are minted on the reverse side of the 5-dollar coin. The central image is the cartouche with the map of Ukraine on it while two griffons are depicted sitting below it. The name of the holiday in Ukrainian is mentioned along the rim above the image, and the date of celebrating is placed below it against the patterned border. The obverse of the coin shows the effigy of the Cook Islands’ monarch Queen Elizabeth II. The name of the reigning monarch and the name of the country of mintage are struck above her image along the rim of the coin. The denomination of the piece is mentioned below it.
