The Bulgaria 20 stotinki 1913 coin is a classic circulating issue from the Kingdom of Bulgaria, struck during the reign of Tsar Ferdinand I and reflecting the nation’s monarchical identity in the early 20th century. Issued with a denomination of 20 stotinki, this coin belongs to a pivotal period just before the First World War, when Bulgaria was asserting its sovereignty and state symbols.

The obverse features the crowned Bulgarian coat of arms placed at the center. A heraldic lion stands upright on the shield, symbolizing strength, courage, and continuity of Bulgarian statehood. Above the shield rises a royal crown with a cross finial, while the surrounding legend reads “БЪЛГАРИЯ” and “СЪЕДИНЕНИЕТО ПРАВИ СИЛАТА” (Unity Makes Strength). Small stars separate the inscriptions, and a beaded border frames the entire design.

The reverse displays the denomination “20 СТОТИНКИ” in large numerals and letters, with the date 1913 positioned below. A decorative wreath of laurel and oak branches encircles the central inscription, tied with a ribbon at the bottom, symbolizing victory, endurance, and civic virtue. The rim is completed with a continuous dotted border.

Struck in copper-nickel and preserved in MS62 condition by PCGS, this coin represents authentic royal-era Bulgarian coinage. It is an excellent addition for collectors of Balkan history, monarchic issues, and early 20th-century European circulation coins.
