The 1913 Bulgaria 10 Stotinki “Ferdinand I” coin represents the classic royal-era design issued during the reign of Tsar Ferdinand I, a significant figure in Bulgaria’s modernization and state-building efforts. The obverse features the national coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bulgaria, dominated by the crowned shield with a rampant lion. Above the crest rises the royal crown with a cross, while the circular inscription “България – Съединението прави силата” (“Unity Makes Strength”) reflects the national motto. Decorative beading runs along the rim, completing the refined composition.
The reverse showcases an elegant wreath composed of intertwined branches: oak leaves on the left and wheat and laurel leaves on the right, tied together by roses at the base. At the center appear the bold 10 СТОТИНКИ and the date 1913, all set against a finely textured background that enhances the relief.
Struck in copper-nickel and certified PCGS MS61, this piece is well preserved for its age, showing strong details and attractive natural patina. It is a desirable example of Bulgarian royal numismatics—ideal for collectors of early 20th-century issues, heraldic designs and historically significant European coinage.
