The Belarus 50 rubles “Saint Panteleimon” gold coin (2008) is a rare issue dedicated to one of the most venerated healers in Orthodoxy. Certified PCGS PR70 Deep Cameo, it reflects perfect quality and artistry. On the reverse appears an icon-style image of Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, haloed and dressed in traditional robes, holding a cross and a medicine box — his attributes as protector of the sick and patron of doctors. The figure is framed by ornamental details and decorative inserts imitating gemstones. Along the rim runs the inscription “ВЕЛИКОМУЧЕНИК ЦЕЛИТЕЛЬ ПАНТЕЛЕИМОН” in Russian. The obverse depicts the national emblem of Belarus, inscriptions “РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ,” the denomination “50 РУБЛЁЎ,” the year 2008, the hallmark of gold, and the image of an Orthodox church. Panteleimon (3rd–4th century) is honored for his compassion and miraculous cures, making this coin not only a numismatic rarity but also a bearer of spiritual meaning and cultural heritage.
