A new coin, a capsule, a CoA, a case.
In 2006 the Republic of Belarus issued a commemorative 20 Rubles silver coin “Wedding” from the Slavs’ Family Traditions series. The coin is struck in sterling silver Ag 925 in Proof quality. On the obverse there is the national emblem of Belarus, a decorative composition with two doves holding a patterned wedding towel (rushnik), stylized geometric ornaments, and inscriptions with the country name, denomination and year of issue. The reverse depicts a traditional festive bread karavai surrounded by flowers and embroidery-style ornaments. At the center are two interlaced wedding rings highlighted with red and gold color, symbolizing the union of the couple. Around the edge runs an ornamental border in blue inspired by national patterns, with the inscription “25 год” (25 years) and the word “Вяселле” (Wedding). The design reflects the symbolism of marriage in Slavic culture, where the wedding ritual was one of the most important family celebrations, representing harmony, continuity and tradition. Issued in limited mintage, the coin is supplied with a presentation case and certificate of authenticity, making it a valuable piece for collectors of Belarusian and world commemorative issues.
