The Belarus 20 Rubles “Twelve Months” silver coin (2006) is part of the fairy-tale series dedicated to classic folklore stories. Struck in .925 silver and graded MS70 by PCGS, it shines with superb quality and symbolic imagery. On the obverse we see a richly detailed composition inspired by the Slavic tale of the twelve brothers-months: in the center is a blazing bonfire with a red crystal insert, around which are stylized figures, trees, and ornamental motifs symbolizing the changing seasons. Snowflakes and branches complete the atmosphere of magic and nature’s cycles. At the bottom curves the inscription ДВАНАЦЦАЦЬ МЕСЯЦАЎ (“Twelve Months”). The reverse repeats the traditional theme of the Belarus fairy-tale coin series: two children seated on a crescent moon, reading a book, surrounded by stars, with the coat of arms of Belarus above them. Encircling inscriptions include “РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ,” “ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ,” and the year 2006. This coin beautifully links Belarusian folklore with numismatic artistry, a collectible gem for lovers of silver, legends, and culture.
