This Germany Nuremberg 1 Thaler silver restrike, issued in 1981 after the historic 1628 design, is graded SP68 by PCGS and cataloged as Dav-5643. The obverse features an elegant crowned female allegory holding a leafy branch beside an ornate pedestal, a smoking ceremonial vessel, and a heraldic shield with a lion. The Latin inscription, decorative lettering, and date 1628 complete the composition. The reverse displays a magnificent crowned double-headed imperial eagle with outstretched feathered wings, two halos, a sword, an imperial orb and scepter, and an elaborate quartered heraldic shield. Intricate plumage, ornamental details, the 1981 restrike date, and a patterned border enhance its artistry. Inspired by the coinage of the Holy Roman Empire, this restrike celebrates Nuremberg's rich numismatic heritage and historic imperial connections. Its exceptional PCGS SP68 grade makes it a compelling collectible.
