A new medal.
The 1935 Germany Saarland PREUSS silver medal, Museler-15.3.49a, certified PCGS SP61, commemorates the historic Saar plebiscite. Its obverse features a standing coal miner wearing a traditional cap, loose jacket, trousers, and boots, holding a mining safety lamp. His realistic posture reflects Saarland's industrial heritage. The reverse presents a raised map of the Saar territory with an irregular border, winding river, rectangular settlement markers, and the central name SAAR. The medal marks the January 13, 1935 referendum, when residents voted for reunification with Germany after League of Nations administration. Its silver composition, sculptural relief, aged patina, and PCGS certification make it an appealing historical collectible.
Offered exclusively for historical, educational, and numismatic purposes. We condemn Nazism and fascism and reject extremist propaganda. Buyers must be 18+ and comply with applicable laws and import regulations. The seller may cancel noncompliant orders.
