The unique picturesque collectible coin of Andorra is dedicated to the Renaissance art. The series of silver 10-dinar coins were minted by tiny Principality in 2012; it consists of 7 pieces decorated in the same style. Represented coin, like the other pieces of the series, bears the image of the Christian Virtue, originally created by Italian Renaissance master Piero del Pollaiolo. The piece shows the Temperance, which is the sitting portrait of a woman who pours the water from jag into a bowl. The colored image of the picture is placed on the reverse of the piece framed by the intricate reliefs, the name of the virtue in Catalan is indicated below the image. The obverse of the coin is similar to the ones of the other pieces of the series. There is the Coat of Arms of Andorra placed in the upper part of the piece while the rest of the surface is occupied by the Renaissance-style pattern. The year of mintage and face value of the coin are indicated there as well.
