In 2010, the Principality of Andorra issued this 10 diners silver coin “Saint Christopher”, part of the Holy Helpers series dedicated to revered saints and protectors in Christian tradition. The reverse depicts Saint Christopher, patron saint of travelers, portrayed in a moving scene: he carries the Christ Child on his shoulder while holding a tall staff, walking across a river with landscape details in the background. Above, radiant beams surround the Child, symbolizing divine guidance. The inscription SANT CRISTÒFOR crowns the design, framed by a circular ornamental border with floral motifs. On the obverse, the official coat of arms of Andorra is shown with the motto VIRTUS UNITA FORTIOR, encircled by the legend PRINCIPAT D’ANDORRA, along with the denomination 10 D. and the year 2010. Struck in .925 Proof silver, this issue combines sacred art with numismatic craftsmanship. Limited in mintage, it appeals to collectors of religious themes, European coinage, and high-quality certified pieces.
